Bio-Statistician, Oct 2018 to date.

Kawempe National Referral Hospital.

As a biostatistician, I use my data analysis and interpretation skills to help researchers and clinicians make decisions about patient care. I work with a variety of teams, including those in the clinical research department, the quality improvement department, and the epidemiology department.

Specific examples of my impact:

• My work to improve patient records management has helped to ensure that patients receive high-quality care timely, as clinicians can easily access their medical history.
• My support for clinical research has helped to accelerate the development of new approaches to care and treatments for women and children.
• My creation of an electronic database for patient data has helped to improve data security and accessibility, which will enable researchers to conduct more robust and impactful studies.
• My implementation of 5S and QI activities has helped to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the hospital, which has benefited both patients and staff.
• My analysis of patient data has helped to inform decision-making at the hospital, which has led to improved outcomes for patients, such as reduced maternal mortality and neonatal survival.
• The routine provision of analytics enhanced planning. e.g in 2020 it enabled to understand the overwhelming number of patients that demand the hospital service which led to increase of hospital funding from one billion Ugx to over 5 billions Ugx

Data Analyst, Oct 2014 to Feb 2018

USAID/Uganda Private Health Support Program, Kampala

As a former data analyst for an organization implementing an HIV/AIDS services project, my role was crucial in supporting the project's success and impact.

Specific examples of my impact:

• I was responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to the services provided to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.
• My work involved identifying trends, patterns, and outcomes from the data, which contributed to evidence-based decision-making and improvements in the project's effectiveness.
• I played a vital role in generating reports and insights, helping the organization monitor progress, assess the project's impact, and make informed adjustments for better outcomes.
• My dedication to accurate data analysis and interpretation significantly contributed to the organization's efforts in combating HIV/AIDS and enhancing the quality of services provided to affected communities.

Monitoring and Evaluation officer, 2015-Dec 2016

Uganda Association of Women Lawyers, Kampala

• Lead the monitoring & evaluation department of the organization. I contributed to organizational development, through increased knowledge of women and children rights in the communities, which enabled women gain respect and consideration in all aspects of life. In this regard rights abuse cases also reduced.
• Developed The MEAL framework that helped to measure and track the progress and impact of the programs and projects. 500 women victims with various cases were supported to access free legal services and justice.
• Trained and empowered 40 organizational staff using M&E tools and writing evidence-based plans.

Achievement: Provided leadership to the team and ensured survey data is entered and verified for quality assurance and quality data reports generated. This contributed to generation of reliable results to the State for National planning.

Acheivement: Monitored and Supported data management and quality assurance in health facilities, which led to better quality service delivery, client satisfaction and facility growth as well as completed the project successfully with positive impact results.

Key achievement: I supported data processing which led to generation quality reports that were based on to plan and improve the agricultural sector. Documented all concerns and incidents and reported them to a senior supervisor.
